Hall, stairs and landing project.
Last summer I completed a hall, stairs and landing painting and decorating project in Watford for a young couple who were preparing their home ahead of the arrival of a new baby. The property was a three-bedroom new build, and the brief was to create a calm, clean and welcoming space that would flow well throughout the home.
The oak staircase was finished with a clear Osmo oil, allowing the natural character of the wood to show through while providing long-lasting protection. This was the first project where I used Dulux Ultra Matt, which proved an excellent choice for a busy family area - reducing visible imperfections and creating a smooth, modern look.

Wallpaper removal & wall repairs.
A painting and decorating project in East London for a young professional who had recently moved into a new build apartment. The brief was focused on refreshing a single feature wall, but the job quickly became more involved once work got underway.
Once the wallpaper was stripped, it became clear the plasterboard had been badly damaged. The wall needed extensive filling and repair, careful sanding, and two coats of heavy-duty lining paper to stabilise it before painting. This level of preparation is essential to achieve a long-lasting finish on compromised surfaces.

1950s exterior in Northwood.
An exterior painting project for a 1950s semi in Northwood. Careful preparation, the right materials for British weather, and timing the work around the forecast so each coat could cure properly.
Projects like these are a great example of the painting and decorating work I carry out across Watford, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. You can view more of my work throughout this site or call me directly on 07779 325974.
